When Mikayla and I first started ShawnCo, we had just one thing in mind…

Create the best gear possible for man's best friend. 

Gear that makes walks easier, safer, and more enjoyable for pups and their humans everywhere. 

But a few years in, we realized something...

ShawnCo isn’t just for dogs…

Every week we receive hundreds of emails from members of our community and every now and then some of them surprise us…

Just the other day we received a wonderful email from a member of the community who showed us her two emus wearing our Essential Harness. 

Check out the photo below if you don’t believe me…

It turns out that after searching high and low for a safe and secure way to walk them back to the barn, our ShawnCo Harness was the perfect fit. 

Who would’ve guessed?

And then there’s Kevin, the potbelly pig…

His mom shared that after trying countless options, she finally found a harness that was easy to use, quick to secure, and comfortable for Kevin.

And the best part is, our Essential Harness is the only one that he will wear that doesn’t scare him. 

And (dare I say it?)…even cats have hopped onboard the ShawnCo train…

One of our favorite recent photos came from a member showing off their majestic Maine Coon, Rocky, rocking our new Basecamp Harness. 

That’s what I call Meow-Tastic!

Okay bad puns aside, Rocky now goes on outdoor walks, enjoys car rides with the wind in his fur, and joins in on all his parents adventures. 

When we think about where we started, it’s honestly humbling to see how far ShawnCo has come. 

I never imagined that Dogs, Cats, Pigs and Emus would be wearing the ShawnCo gear.

Mikayla and I are honored that so many pet lovers trust us to keep their animals safe, secure, and stylish.
