To determine your dog’s chest girth, use a measuring tape to measure around the widest part of their chest, 1–2 inches behind the front legs. To find your dog’s weight, step on a scale alone, then again while holding your dog. Subtract your weight from the combined total. Be sure to check the sizing chart before ordering.

We do not recommend using your harness, leash or collar on a tie out. Our Products are created for everyday use such as walks and long hikes. Please note any use of a tie out with your harness, leash or collar voids your warranty.

Yes, your dog can wear the Essential Harness in light rain or shallow water. However, it’s not a life vest, so always use caution around water. If exposed to salt water, rinse the harness with clean water to prevent damage.
