Nothing Is More American Than A Good Dog…

In just a few days we get to celebrate one of Mikayla and mine favorite holidays, The Fourth of July!

And this year we’re gearing up for some tail-wagging, firework-watching fun!

Every year around this time we go on hikes, spend time with our friends, bust out the old BBQ and go see some fireworks!

Even Elvis gets in on the action!

(By the way, you still have time to pick up your Red White And Blue Harness Leashes and Collars to bring in the holiday right if you haven't already ;)

But no matter how you’re spending the holiday, we've got 5 essential tips to make sure your four-legged pals have a blast too.

1. Red, White, and Woof! 🎇🐕

Why should humans have all the fun?
Dress up your pup in some festive patriotic themed gear.

You can also find a cute bow tie, or even a little doggy t-shirt with patriotic themes and make them the star of the show. =

Just make sure they're comfortable and not too hot!

 2. Yappy Hour Treats 🍔🐶

While you're enjoying your burgers and hot dogs, don't forget your furry friend!

Whip up some dog-friendly treats like frozen peanut butter and banana bites or homemade doggy popsicles!

They'll love being included in the feast.

3. Fetching Fun and Games 🎾🇺🇸

Keep your dog entertained with some fun outdoor activities.

A game of fetch with a patriotic-themed toy or a splash in the kiddie pool can keep them busy and happy.

Plus, it's a great way for them to burn off some energy before the fireworks start.

4. Fireworks Fears? No Problem! 🎆🐾

Fireworks can be a bit scary for our furry friends.

Create a safe, quiet space indoors with their favorite toys and a comfy bed.

Turn on some calming music or white noise to help drown out the booms and pops.

5. Capture the Paw-some Moments 📸🐕‍🦺
Don't forget to snap some adorable photos of your dog enjoying the festivities!

Share them with friends and family, and don't forget to tag us on social media @shawncopets and use hashtag #shawncopets!

We can't wait to see your patriotic pups in action!

Wishing you and your furry friends a fantastic Fourth of July filled with fun, food, and lots of wagging tails.

And don’t forget to thank the veterans in your life who have served our country 🇺🇸🐶🎉

Woofs & Wags,

Isaiah Gardner

P.S. Remember to keep an eye on your pup during all the festivities to ensure they stay safe and happy.

Have a paw-some holiday! 🐾🎇
